Disability Driving Instructors

I provide automatic driving lessons in Rotherham. I now only work part time hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I no longer work evenings. I provide driver training in a very high specification 2022 Kia Xceed automatic plug in hybrid car. Please note, whilst my car is an automatic, I do not have any vehicle adaptations. In 2017 I attended the QEF Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for disabled people – Teaching People with Disabilities to Drive. I have also attended a Disability Awareness Course delivered by North East Drive Mobility in Conjunction with Driving Mobility in 2021. In 2022 I completed the Road Safety GB Ageing Driver ADI Course. I have also completed the Disability Driving Instructors ADI Training Programme Disabilities and Medcial Conditions and Specific Educational Needs in 2023. I have also attended the Disability Driving Instructors In car training day at RDAC Solihull in 2023. I specialise in teaching people with specific educational needs and learning differences. I have a very strong background in advanced driving from my previous life experience and offer driving courses for all abilities. For example, learning to drive, advanced driving, confidence boosters, motorway lessons, helping and supporting older drivers. Everyone one of us is different. For example, we all learn differently, at different paces and have our own learning and supportive needs. I will do my best to work with you to support your learning. Learning to drive, or having the confidence to drive, gives us independence and freedom to go where we want and when. I am very patient and supportive and can help you to reach your driving goals. Drivers with different learning needs are very welcome.
