Disability Driving Instructors

Kelly’s new adapted tuition car is now officially on the road! a nearly new Toyota Yaris fitted with Jeff Gosling push/pull hand controls with indicator pin switch and steering ball plus a twin flip left foot accelerator. For those who only have use in one hand a Bever SmartSteer secondary control system has also been fitted, this operates the indicators, horn, front/rear wash/wipe controls and the headlamp dip/flash with the same hand that is controlling and turning the steering. Kelly recently completed the Disability Driving Instructors ADI training programme for disabilities and medical conditions and is a qualified BSL signing instructor as well as being experienced in helping people with specific learning difficulties and developmental conditions.
